Wilma E. Mock

Wilma E. Mock, 80, of Ligonier, previously of Pierceton, passed away at Avalon Village Nursing Home on Wednesday, November 12, 2008. She was born on December 7, 1927, in Noble County, to Hobart & Celia (Knapp) Weade.

On October 28, 1945, she married Warren D. Mock. He preceded her in death in 2004.

A lifetime area resident, Wilma was previously employed at Essex Wire and Monsanto in Ligonier. She previously attended North Webster Church of God and was a previous member of TOPS in Ligonier.

Survivors include 3 Daughters: Linda (Harold) Smith of Pierceton, Cheryl Mock of Syracuse, Sheila (Jesse) Taylor of Elkhart, 2 Sons: Tim (Diane) Mock of Pierceton, Dennis (Laurie) Mock of Warsaw, 9 Grandchildren, 17 great grand children, 1 great great grandchild, and 1 brother: Woodward Weade of Kimmell. She was preceded in death by 1 sister and 1 brother.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008, at 12 Noon, at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse. Rev. David W. Heim will officiate. Burial will take place at the North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Care Hospice or Alzheimer's Association.
