Lucy F. Rensberger

Lucy F. Rensberger, 82, of Syracuse passed away Friday, November 28, 2008 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born May 27, 1926 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Stanley & Anna Kaminski. On December 7, 1946 she married Floyd Rensberger, and he preceded her in death in 1999.

Lucy was an area resident since 1953 coming from Milwaukee. She previously was a cook for several area restaurants including the Beacon, England's Cafe, and South Shore Golf Course, and she previously attended Wawasee Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include 1 daughter: Sharon (Ronnie) Rouch of Elkhart; 2 sons: Stanley (Melody) Rensberger of Milford and David (Diane) Rensberger of Syracuse. 7 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 10 step great grandchildren. 1 sister: Evelyn Kaminski of Milwaukee and Thomas Kaminski of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by a son Floyd M. Rensberger and 2 sisters: Sylvia Kaminski and Janet Dehring.

Services are Monday, December 1, 2008, 11:00 AM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse with Rev. R. Mike Bundy officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 30 from 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home.
