Pauline Ruth Eary

Pauline Ruth Eary, 76, Cromwell, died at 1:55 p.m. on December 5, 2008 at Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse.

She was born on February 16, 1932, in West Virginia to Doc Walter and Ethel May (Thornhill) Helmick. She married Ronald Eary, who preceded her in death.

She moved back to Indiana from West Virginia in 2003. She was employed at Dana Corp. and was a cook in West Virginia. She was a member of the Church of God.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Terry) Senter, Cromwell, and Ruth (Tommy) Ortez, Texas; a son Ronald "Larry" (Sylvia) Eary, Cromwell; two sisters, Loretta Judy and Eleanor Hudnall, both of West Virginia; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two half brothers West Virginia State Senator Walt Helmick; Bob Helmick, three half sisters Patty, Shirley and Sonny Helmick all of West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Bill and Florida (Webb)Thornhill, her brothers and one sister.

Services will be at 10:30 am, Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse with Pastor Sarah Tuttle officiating. Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, December 8, 2008 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
