Albert L. Hansen

Albert L. Hansen, 79, of North Webster passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born November 22, 1929 in Howard, South Dakota to John & Anna (Eriksen) Hansen. On March 7, 1961, he married Lura E. Rose, and she preceded him in death in 1988.

Albert retired as a Truck Driver with Western Metal in Milwaukee. He was a Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, was a member of the North Webster American Legion Post 253, and the VFW Post 1342 in Syracuse.

Surviving are a daughter: Deborah McKnight of Hobart, IN; a son, Dale Worthington of Birmingham, AL. 5 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson. He was preceded in death by a Grandson: Steven Shue, 3 brothers, and 5 sisters.

Services will be Tuesday, December 16, 6:00 PM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Military honors will be conducted by members of the North Webster American Legion.

Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 2-6 PM at the Funeral Home.
