Wilma Jean (Frey) Buck, 83, of Bremen, formerly of South Bend, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2008 at the Community Hospital of Bremen.
Wilma was born on September 8, 1925 in Remington, IN to Henry & Sallie (Knochel) Frey, who preceded her in death. She graduated from Remington High School in 1943 and married Donald Buck on September 7, 1946 in Remington. He survives. They lived in South Bend from 1947 to 2000 when they moved to Bremen. They were lovingly married for 62 years. She worked a number of years in the office of Dr. H.J. Stoller.
She was a founding member of Community Gospel Church in Bremen in 1967.
Survivors include loving husband Donald Buck of Bremen, her dear children: David (Jan) Buck of Nappanee, Dennis (Jane) Buck of Bremen, Debi (Richard) Matteson of Rockwall, TX, Diane (Michael) Mann of Sharpsburg, GA, Dawn (Curt) Carius of Morton, IL, grandchildren: Amy (Brian) Schmidt, Peter (Beth) Buck, Phillip Buck, Jennifer (Ryan) Malecki, Anthony (Autumn) Buck, Laura and Jonathan Buck, Jamie and Erin Holdren, Holly (Billy) Atkins, Andrew Matteson, Step-grandson Evan (Virginia) Matteson, Janna ( Mark) Campbell, Jacob Murdock, Brittany, Brooke, Bridget and Braden Carius, 5 great-grandchildren: Annabelle & Jefferson Buck, Natalie Buck, Lucy Campbell, Allison Schmidt, sisters: Letty (Robert) Hueni of Bremen and Betty (Lloyd) Schumacher of Washington, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parentts, a grandson: Joshua Buck, a twin of Jennifer.
A Graveside Service will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 2, 2009 at the Bremen Cemetery and will be officiated by Pastor Mike Fanning.
Immediately following burial, a Memorial Service will be held at the Community Gospel Church, Bremen.
Visitation will be from 2-6PM on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Gospel Church in Bremen or Gideons International.
