Carl C. Chupp

Carl C. Chupp, 90, of Milford, passed away at 2:05 pm, Thursday, May 7, 2015 in Millers Merry Manor of Warsaw. Carl was born on July 10, 1924 in Oceana County, MI, the son of Edward and Bernice (Artlip) Chupp. On August 28, 1943, he married Margie E. Nichols, she passed away on July 26, 2013. He was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. He is survived by daughter, Bernice (Don) Smith of Warsaw; two grandchildren, Richard (Carrie) Miller of Noblesville and Tina (Matt) Donovan of Akron. Carl proudly served as a U.S. Air Force cadet and was discharged in 1943. He has been a Milford resident since 1948, moving from Arkansas and is a member of the Clunette United Methodist Church. He worked for the Purina Mills and retired after 22 years. He also farmed for the Estep Family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 pm in Mishler Funeral Home, 461 W. 900 N., Milford, IN. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will take place Leesburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clunette United Methodist Church.
