Justin Alan Fretz

Justin Fretz, 17, of Bremen, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 in Bremen. He was born on December 7, 1991, in Bremen to Jeff Fretz and Regina (Quesenberry) Fretz.

Justin was a Junior at Bremen High School. He attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bremen, was a member of the Bremen HS FFA, played intramural basketball and helped at sporting events – collecting tickets and running the scoreboard. He was involved with the Science Academic Team, refereed soccer games, studied Digital Media at the Elkhart Area Career Center (EACC). Justin enjoyed baseball, fishing, and racing. He loved playing Rockband.

Survivors include his Mother: Regina Fretz of Bremen, his Father: Jeff Fretz of Bremen, a Sister: Nicole (fiancé Jason) Fretz of Bremen, Paternal Grandmother: Phyllis (Gary) Beane of Rochester, Paternal Grandfather: Larry (Carolyn) Fretz of Etna Green, Maternal Grandmother: Thelma Quesenberry of Bremen, Maternal Great-grandmother: Goldie Clark of Bremen. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather: Bill Quesenberry and cousin Joseph Quesenberry.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2009, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (605 S. Center St., Bremen). Pastor Neil Wonnacott will officiate. Burial will take place at Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 – 8 PM on Friday, January 30, 2009, at the Bremen High School Auditorium (on Grant Street).
