Donald Aukerman

Donald Lee Aukerman, 73, of Osceola passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2009 at his residence. He was born on January 20, 1936 South Bend, IN
to Max & Lydia (Wegner) Aukerman. He married Carolyn Gay on August 9, 1964. She survives.

Donald graduated from Bremen High School in 1954, was a Veteran of the US Navy and attended St. Mark Missionary Church, Mishawaka.

Survivors include wife Carolyn Aukerman of Osceola, 2 sons: Matthew (Caryl) Aukerman of Albania, serving as missionaries, Mark (Sheila) Aukerman of Wakarusa
1 daughter: Suzanne (Tien) Do of Indianapolis, 8 grandchildren: Noah, Grace, Eli, Lukas & Anna Aukerman, Averie, Ella & Alexander Do, 6 sisters: Betty (Morris) Briggs of Goshen, Pauline (Floyd) Fulmer of Mishawaka, Lois (Dean) Farrer of Bremen, Jean (Harold) Stillson of AL, Doris (Carl) Jones of Edwardsburg, MI, Carolyn (Glen) Kile of Bremen, 3 brothers: Dale (Lucinda) Aukerman of South Bend, John Aukerman of Wakarusa, Ronald (Penny) Aukerman of Bremen. He was preceded by in death by his parents, 2 brothers: Richard and Robert Aukerman.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen and will be officiated by Rev. Ervin Mize. Burial will be at the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 – 8 PM on Monday, February 2, 2009 at the funeral home.
