Harrison Paul Fidler

Harrison Paul Fidler, 14, of Syracuse passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born on June 19, 1994, in Syracuse, to James & Denise (Shavinski) Fidler.

A lifetime area resident, Harrison was an 8th grader at Wawasee Middle School, where he was involved in Fellowship fo Christian Athletes and was home schooled. He attended Vineyard Community Church in Syracuse and was active in the North Webster Church of God Youth Group. Harrison enjoyed many activities, including hunting, fishing, soccer, snowboarding, bmx biking, wakeboarding, swimming and traveling. He also looked forward to SOS Mission trip with the Vineyard Church; enjoyed spending time at the North Webster Community Youth Center and enjoyed humor and loved to make people laugh.

Survivors include his Parents, siblings: Karrah, 19; Seth, 16; Makayla, 10; Tressa, 7; Maternal Grandparents: Dennis & Mary Shavinski of Port Austin, MI; Paternal Grandparents: Phile & Barbara Fidler of Leesburg.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 7, 2009, at 10:00AM at the North Webster Church of God. Pastor Kent Butcher will officiate. Burial will take place at the Shock Cemetery in NOrth Webster.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 6 from 2-4 & 6-8:30 PM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse.

Memorial contributions may be made to the North Webster Community Youth Center or the Indiana Organ Procurement Association (IOPA).
