Brian L. Nieb, 65, of Argos, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 30, 2015. Brian was born on October 26, 1949, the son of the late Leon C. and Mary E. (Wages) Nieb. On March 9, 1969, he married Diana Overmyer. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Diana of Argos; four children, Scott Nieb of Plymouth, Jeff Nieb of South Bend, Stacy (Jeff) Hazen of Mishawaka and Shawn (Abby) Nieb of Freelandville, IN; and six grandchildren, Allison, Jacob, Keylee, Madlynn, Grayson and Maddyx. He is also survived by seven siblings; Leah Neldon of Niles, MI, Stewart (Tom Lang) Nieb of Denver, Co, Linda (Mike Davis) Milum of Bulls Gap, TN, Russell (Mary) Nieb of Niles, MI, Leon (Sharon) Nieb of Boulder, CO, and Kathy Lawson of Niles, MI. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and step father, Emil Yanke. Brian proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for over 18 years and achieved the ranking of Staff Sergeant before his military retirement. He was a member of the American Legion Post 424. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, golfing and the Michigan Wolverines. He mostly enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 pm, Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in Argos United Methodist Church, 570 N. Michigan St., Argos. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday in the church with full military honors.
