Gilbert R. Shedrow

Gilbert “Skip” Ray Shedrow, 69, of Knox, formerly of Bradenton, FL, passed away at 8:50 pm, Monday, August 3, 2015 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Gilbert was born on October 13, 1945, the son of the late Gilbert E. and Sara Frances (Porter) Shedrow. Skip is survived by four children, Andrea Shedrow of Knox, IN, Julie Shedrow of Knox, In, David (Alison) Shedrow of Ellenton, FL and Jennifer Grundy Troyer of Plymouth, IN; six grandchildren, Tasha, Nathan, Taylor, Katelyn, Alexis and Evan; and one great granddaughter, Lily. He is also survived by a sister, Sue (Jim) Barnett of Grovertown. He was the owner/operator of Skip’s Lawncare for the past 25 years and will be remembered for his love of NASCAR, fishing and bowling. There will be no services. Cremation has taken place. Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen is handling arrangements.
