Frank E. Wallace

Frank E. Wallace, age 77, of Milford, passed away at Pilgrim Manor in Plymouth on Sunday, February 26, 2006. He was born in Marshall County, Indiana, on March 30, 1928, to Frank N. & Pearl May (Bennett) Wallace.

Frank, a truck driver for 35 years, moved to Warsaw in 1969 and to Milford in 2004. He retired from Champion Door in 1985 and also delivered newspapers for several years. He was a member of the Leesburg Grace Brethren Church, WWII US Navy Veteran, servced in the National Guard, attended Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church for 20 years, member of the Warsaw "McDonalds' Coffee Club" and an avid NASCAR fan.

He married Helen Singleton, she preceded in 1966. On March 8, 1968, he married Jean Middaugh, she survives.

Survivors include his wife: Jean of Milford, 1 daughter: Teffinie (Ned) Hunsberger of Milford, 1 son: Steven (Debbie) Wallace of Arkansas, 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 sister: Ruby "Penny" Shively of Warsaw, 1 brother: Morris (Virginia) Wallace of Plymouth. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife: Helen, a daughter: Sherry, 1 grandson, 1 sister and 5 brothers.

Services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2006, at 2:00PM at the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, Indiana. Pastor John Teevan will officiate. Military graveside services will follow at the Milford Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8PM on Wednesday at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford and 1 hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be given to the Leesburg Grace Brethren Church or Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church.
