Kenneth D. Germann

Kenneth Daniel Germann, 97, of Bremen, passed away at 3:35 am, Saturday, September 19, 2015 in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth. Kenneth was born on January 23, 1918, the son of Daniel and Anna (Wuthrich) Germann. On February 18, 1950, he married Mary E. Widup. She passed away on February 11, 2003. He is survived by three children, Kathleen Germann of Bremen, Marian (Bill) Steffen of New Haven, IN and Richard (Melli) Germann of Rolling Prairie, IN; five grandchildren, Chris Steffen, Tad Germann, Tia Germann, Devyn Germann and Tayler Germann. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, Ben, Cal and Johne. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and four siblings, Harold, Bob, Florence, and Mildred. Ken was a 1936 graduate of Madison Township High School and was a member of the Boys Basketball St. Joe County Tournament Championship team his senior year. He was a retired Dairy Farmer and a member of the St. Joe County Dairy Association, while raising registered Guernsey Cattle. He also was a member of the Bremen Bible Church and an avid reader. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Friday, September 25, 2015 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen, IN. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, September 26, 2015 in the Bremen Bible Church, 124 N. Baltimore St., Bremen. Rev. Dr. Duane Beals will officiate. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
