Bette Schlotterback Mignery

Bette Schlotterback Mignery, age 75, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2006, at the Wesley Health Care Center in Auburn. She was born in North Webster on September 6, 1930, to Robert & Wanda (Johnson) Baker.

A lifetime area resident, Bette was a Waitress and Home Health Care Nurse before retiring in 1994. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. in Syracuse. Mrs. Mignery was the first woman certified in CPR in the State of Indiana, she was a Republican Precinct Committee Woman, a member of the American Legion Post #223 Women's Auxiliary, Syracuse Eagles Auxiliary and she managed the Syracuse License Branch in the late 1960s.

On May 29, 2004, she married Bill Mignery. He survives.

Survivors include her husband: William C. Mignery of Syracuse, 1 Daughter: Pastor Deb (Larry) Peterson of Goshen, 2 sons: Randy (Kori) Gingerich of Bloomington, Indiana, Kirby (Isabel) Schlotterback of Tacoma, Washington, 2 Step Daughters: Linda (Mike) Doll of North Webster, Debbie Mignery of Fort Meyers, Florida, 1 Step Son: Bill Mignery of Syracuse, 6 Grandchildren, 8 Step Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 11 Step Great Grandchildren and 1 Brother: Benny (Charlene) Baker of Plainwell, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother: Charles Baker.

Services will be held Sunday, March 5, 2006 at 2:00PM at the Mishler Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel. Pastor Ken Robinson will officiate. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00-5:00PM on Saturday, March 4, 2006, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice in Bette's honor.
