Terry L. Ruff

Terry Lee Ruff, 70, of Nappanee, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Terry was born on November 8, 1945, the son of the late Harold and Margaret “Fern” (Losee) Ruff. On October 17, 1981, he married Laura Whalen in Osceola. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Laura and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Harold “Devon”, Richard “Pete” and Robert “Bob”. Terry graduated from Nappanee High School, class of 1964. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Navy before his honorable discharge in 1967. He was a three time Past Commander of the Nappanee American Legion Post 154. He loved to watch NASCAR racing and attending the Winchester 400. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, November 12, 2015 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, November 13, 2015 in the funeral home with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Nappanee American Legion Post 154, 201 W. Lincoln St, Nappanee, IN 46550 or the Bremen V.F.W. Post 8972, 1750 W. Plymouth St, Bremen, IN 46506.
