On January 20th, 2016, Jeffrey A. McLaughlin, 64, of Bremen, IN went to be with the Lord. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Gaddey) McLaughlin, his sisters, Kelly Lynch and Kerri (Lee) Hessenthaler, four step sons, Scott (Stephanie) Hoover, Cordell (Jennifer) Hoover, Dennis Hoover (Michelle Maes) , Christopher (Kristin) Hurley and 16 Grandchildren and 10 adopted grandchildren. Born in 1951 to Frederick and Lois McLaughlin in Elkhart, IN, he graduated from Elkhart Central High School and went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University of South Bend. He worked in the Division of Family Resources as a State Eligibility Consultant for Marshall County for 18 years. He was devoted to serving the people of Marshall County. He was a member of Plymouth Baptist Church, but most recently attended Grace Fellowship Church, Bremen. He enjoyed fishing at his favorite uncle’s house on the St. Joe River, camping with his wife, playing his guitar and listening to music. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 23, 2016 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Marshall County Humane Society.
