Christina Moren

Christina Alexandria Marie Moren, 17, of Walkerton passed away as a result of an automobile accident on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Christina was born on July 30, 1998, the daughter of James and Cherie (Hunsberger) Moren. She is survived by her parents, James (Cherie) Moren of Walkerton, three brothers, Mark (Jessica) Moren of Valparaiso, Lukas (Lindsey) Moren of Nappanee, and Jamie (Hannah) Moren of Walkerton; paternal grandmother, Cathy Jones of Bremen, and paternal step grandmother, Katherine Moren of London, KY. She is also survived by four nieces and nephews, Landon, Layla, Kyden and Kaya Moren as well as six aunts and three uncles. She is preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Fayetta Sauer and paternal grandfather, James Moren and cousin, David Hunsberger, Jr. Christina recently attended John Glenn High School and enjoyed playing such sports as soccer, basketball and baseball. She was also in the choir. She loved animals and was aspiring to become a Veterinarian. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt. She had a smile that would brighten anyone’s day. She was always willing to help anyone whenever it was needed. She was always there to help take care of the ones she loved, from the family pets, to nieces and nephews, and of course her grandma, Fay, all without asking for anything in return. She will be loved, missed, and remembered forever. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Walkerton Presbyterian Church, 512 Georgia St., Walkerton, with one hour of calling prior to the service. Pastor Tim Davis will officiate. Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen is handling arrangements. A Memorial Fund in Christina’s memory has been set up in at First Source Bank.
