Bryon Paul Smith

Bryon Paul Smith, 58, of Burnham, IL, formerly of Blue Island, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2016 in Bria of River Oaks Nursing Home after suffering most of his adult life from a mental illness. Bryon was born on January 12, 1958, the son of Paul and Rosemary (Manges) Smith. He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Stokes of Bremen and three siblings, Angela (Brian) Regan of Kalamazoo, MI, Amy (Patrick Lukens) Smith of Batavia, IL and Gary (Shirley Tam) Stokes of Chicago, IL. Bryon was a double major in both Political Science and History from Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, IA. He really enjoyed history and following Chicago sports teams. A private family service will be held in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. Burial will take place in Bremen Cemetery.
