Milton E. Brice

Milton E. Brice, age 90, of Warren, Indiana, formerly of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2006, at the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren, Indiana. He was born on May 17, 1915, in Sauk County, Wisconsin, to Nelson J. Brice and Isabel B. Shultis.

On August 11, 1940, he wed Edith Harter. She preceded him in death in 1996.

After moving to Syracuse from Liberty, Indiana in 1964, Milton was taught at Wawasee Jr. High School and retired in 1979. He was also the Wawasee High School Principal from 1964-1965. A member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, the Indiana Retired Teachers Association, Kosciusko County Retired Teachers Association, Milton was also a member of the Syracuse Lions Club and an alumnus of Indiana Central.

Survivors include 1 daughter: Ann Elizabeth Brice of Hamilton, Ohio, 1 son: Jon (Martha) Brice of Marion, Indiana, 1 grandson: Adam (Liz) Brice, 3 great grandchildren: Isabelle, Emily and Noah. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Edith, 1 sister and 2 brothers.

Services will be held Thursday, April 6, 2006, at 10:30AM at the St. Andrews United Methodist Church in Syracuse. Pastor Mark Eastway will officiate. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8PM Wednesday, April 5, 2006, at the United Methodist Memorial Home Chapel in Warren, Indiana, and 9-10:30AM prior to the service Thursday at the church.

Memorials may be given to the St. Andrews United Methodist Church.
