Ronald Grise

Ronald R. Grise, 78, of Goshen, passed away peacefully at 2:11 pm, Friday, October 21, 2016 in his home surrounded by family. Ron was born on August 21, 1938 in Wyatt, IN to the late Ray and Rose (Lyman) Grise. On October 18, 1980, he married Janet Wickham. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Jan of Goshen; six children, Donald (D.J. Stephens) Grise, Michael Grise, Cassie (Terry) Ellsworth, Stephanie (Howard) Miller, Kathy (Michael) Wharton, Melinda (Michael Bledsoe) Slabaugh; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Wayne, grandson, Christopher, great granddaughter, Trista, and mother in law, Helen Herman. He was a lifetime member of the D.A.V. Chapter 15. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, bowling and playing pool and he was always feeding the animals. He enjoyed spending time with family. There will be no services. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
