Agnes Martin

September 18, 1924 — February 8, 2017

Agnes Marie Martin, 92, of Bremen, passed away peacefully at 11:45 am, Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Miller’s Merry Manor of Wakarusa, surrounded by family.  Agnes was born on September 18, 1924, the daughter of Carl and Beulah (Yockey) Moore.  Agnes is survived by five children; Mike (Lolly) Martin of Bremen, Jane (Dennis) Buck of Bremen, Mary (John) Myers of Lynchburg, VA, Joe Martin of Grand Rapids and Tom (Dee) Martin of Ft. Wayne; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two sisters, Ann Griffing of Shelbyville and Freda Cline of Nappanee.  Agnes is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Martin; grandchildren, Joshua Buck, Amanda Martin and Katelynn Martin and sisters, Irene Huff and Kate Garrett. Agnes was a member of Nappanee Missionary Church.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 11, 2017 in Nappanee Missionary Church, 70417 St. Rd. 19, Nappanee, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service.  Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice.  Mishler Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
