Bonnie Carothers

Bonnie J. Carothers, 89, of Bremen, passed away at 11:15 am, Saturday, March 4, 2107 in Signature Health Care of Bremen surrounded by family.  Bonnie was born on September 12, 1927 in Newberry, MI to Henry and Paula (Scott) Cremer.  On May 28, 1956 she married Thomas Gerald “Gay” Carothers.  He passed away on May 8, 1987.  She resided in Bremen for the past 62 years. She is survived by four children; Steven (Rebecca) G. Carothers, Paul (Lisa) Carothers, Phillip (Denis) Carothers, and Dewayne Carothers; six grandchildren; Sue Carothers, Thomas (Yvonne) Carothers, Nancy Carothers, Angela Carothers, Lyndsay (Craig) Ashcraft and Taya (William) Leon-Carothers. She is also survived by two great grandchildren; Pierce Carothers and Regan Hopple, as well as, numerous loving nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, and two brothers. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm, Friday, March 10, 2017 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331,  Bremen.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Bremen Cemetery. The family prefers memorial contributions to the ALS society.
