Donna Marie Ogden, age 63, of Ligonier, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Goshen General Hospital. She was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, on November 21, 1942, to Oscar & Laura (Jarvis) Tuttle.
On August 5, 1961, she married David Ogden. He survives.
A lifetime area resident, Donna retired as the inventory control manager at Goshen Rubber after 38 years. She was a 1960 graduate of Saint Claire Shores High School and attended Indiana University South Bend. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ligonier and the Red Hat Society (Wawasee). She was very active in painting, arts, gardening and woodworking.
She is survived by her husband: David, 3 daughters: Teresa Rust of Fort Wayne; Bonnie (Kevin) Willoughby of Goshen; and Wendy (Tilman) Wolfe of Syracuse. 7 grandchildren, 2 brothers: Bernie (Carol) Aude of St. Claire, Michigan; James Ade of Roseville, Michigan; 6 sisters: Jean (Mac) McGee of Raleigh, North Carolina; Ida Barnes of Lebanon, Oregon; Laura (Bill) Ogden of Franklin, North Carolina; Lorraine (Albert) Stroh of Alger, Michigan; Nancy Varney of Memphis, Michigan; and Linda Costello of Sterling Heights, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother: Robert Tindle.
Services for Mrs. Ogden will take place at 2:00PM on Sunday, May 21, 2006, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel in Syracuse. Friends may call Saturday, May 20, 2006, from 2:00-5:00PM at the funeral home.
