Lowell C. Barefoot

Lowell C. Barefoot, age 70, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2006. He was born on November 13, 1935, in Alum Bank, Pennsylvania, to Robert and Elsie (Bowser) Barefoot.

Self-employed in the scrap metal business, Lowell moved to Syracuse 35 years ago. He also attended Bedford High School in Bedford, Pennsylvania.

Survivors include 1 daughter: Sharon Barefoot of Syracuse, 1 son: Richard Barefoot of North Webster, 1 sister: Ann (George) Lohman of Syracuse, 1 brother: Luther Allen (Nancy) Barefoot of Liberty Mills, Indiana, 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 15, 2006, at 4:00PM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in North Manchester. Pastor George L. Lohman, II, will officiate. Friends may call Wednesday at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse.
