Rodney H. Mccreary

Rodney H. McCreary, age 77, of Milford, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2006, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born on September 4, 1929, in Goshen, Indiana, to John Roy and Ruth Bernice (Miller) McCreary.

On June 17, 1949, he married Maxine Snooks. She survives.

A lifelong area resident, Rodney was an auto mechanic at Sorg Dodge in Goshen for 47 years; then worked several years for Dewart Auto Sales in Milford. He was a member of the Milford Christian Church, a former member of the Milford Lions Club and a US Army Veteran, from 1955-1957.

Survivors include his wife: Maxine, of Milford; 3 daughters: Debra Ann McCreary of LaGrange, Cindy (Jack) Tudor of Milford, Ginger (Kerry) Burdette of Milford; 2 granddaughters: Jennifer (Rodney) Bray of Milford, Crystal Tudor of Milford, 2 great granddaughters: Megan and Katelyn Bray. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother: William and 1 half-sister: Mary Wagner.

Services will be held Friday, September 8, 2006, at 10:00AM, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford. Reverend Robert Mundy will officiate. Burial will follow at the Whitehead Cemetery in New Paris, Indiana. Friends may call from 6-8PM Thursday, September 7, 2006, at the funeral home.
