Millicent Campbell, age 73, of Warsaw, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2006, at her son and daughter-in-law's residence. She was born on October 3, 1932, in Muncie, Indiana, to Charles and Margaret (Heitzman) McColley.
On March 16, 1959, she married Clyde Campbell. He survives.
A lifetime area resident, Millicent was a retired cook. She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post 253 in North Webster and VFW Post 1342 in Syracuse.
Survivors include her husband Clyde of Leesburg; 2 sons: John (Patricia) Evans of Pierceton, Edd (Bridget) Campbell of Warsaw, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 sister: Cyndee (Bob) Holle Ulmer and cousins: Bob & Carolyn Senseney. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Doug "Spanky" Evans, a brother: Bud McColley and a sister: Annabell Reasoner.
Services will be held on Monday, September 11, 2006, at 11:00AM at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse. Reverend Larry Biller will officiate. Burial will follow at Leesburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8PM Sunday at the funeral home.
