Scott Harold Fields

Scott H. Fields, age 36, of New Paris, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2006, at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born August 2, 1970, in East Chicago, Indiana, to Liberty & Edna (Hall) Fields.

A lifetime area resident, Scott worked Construction, worked for Bison in Milford, Trail Light in New Paris and the Warsaw Street Department. He was a Christian and was Baptized at the Wawasee Community Bible Church in Milford. He attended Marion High School and loved the outdoors and fishing.

Survivors include his mother: Edna Fields of New Paris, his father: Liberty (Josephine) Fields of Wabash, 2 sons: Matthew Fields and Isaiah Fields, both of Crawfordsville, 2 brothers: Randall (Candy) Fields of Marion, Mark Fields of Cromwell, maternal grandmother: Mae "Nanny" Hall of New Paris, ex-wife: Trina (Donald) Thigpen of Crawfordsville, 2 step-brothers: Daniel (Donna) Johnston of Converse and Jack (Jackie) Johnston of Swayzee, 1 step-sister: Diane Johnston of Fortville, 2 nephews: Dustin Fields of Marion and Kyle Fields of Cromwell, 1 niece: Rochelle Johnston of Muncie.
