Herbert Leonard Foyle

Herbert Leonard Foyle, age 94, of Bonita Springs, FL formerly of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2006, at his residence. He was born on July 30, 1912, in Worth, Illinois, to Bert & Minnie (Polchow) Foyle.

On June 25, 1939, he married Ida (Lode) Foyle. She preceded him in death in 1994.

Herbert grew up in the Chicagoland area, summered in Syracuse since the 1950s, retired and moved to Bonita Springs, Florida and continued to summer in the Syracuse area. He was the Owner and operator of Foyle & Sons, water well driller. Herbert was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Florida, a member of the Lions' Club and a Volunteer Fireman.

Survivors include 1 Son: Leonard Foyle of Syracuse, 3 Daughters: Lorelei (Terry) Haab of Syracuse, Karen (Jan) Fuller of Bonita Springs, Florida, Peggy (Don) Bucher of Syracuse. 11 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 6 brothers and sisters.

Services will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2006, at 7:00PM, at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford. Burial will take place at the Milford Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7PM Tuesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
