Ellen J. Siefer

Ellen J. Siefer, 93, of Nappanee, formerly of Bremen passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Goshen General Hospital.

She was born September 11, 1916 in Bremen to Albert & Armata (Snyder) Kiefer. On March 26, 1942 she married Howard E. Siefer, he preceded her in death on April 9, 2007.

Ellen was a homemaker and member St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bremen.

Survivors include son John Siefer of Bloomingdale, IL, daughter Judy (Larry) Skupien of Mt. Horeb, WI, 3 grandchildren: Jon (Kaye) Siefer, Mindy (JR) Collier, and Chad Skupien, 6 great-grandchildren: Shannon & Bradley Siefer, Tim, Ashley, Joshua & Ellie Collier, and 1 brother Ted Kiefer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard, son Bill Siefer, grandson Bradley Siefer, 1 sister and 2 brothers.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, August 20, 2010 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (605 S. Center St.) in Bremen and will be officiated by Pastor Roger Rhode & Pastor Neil Wonnacott. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 – 8PM on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen.
