Frederick C. Dust, Iii

Frederick C. Dust, age 81, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at the Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born on July 17, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois, to Fred & Esther (Hedin) Dust.

Frederick moved from Chicago to Syracuse in 1940. He was a Spray painter, did finish work and worked in the manufactured housing industry. He was a US Army WWII Veteran, a member of the American Legion Post 223 of Syracuse and of the Eagles in Syracuse.

Survivors include 1 son: Daniel Dust of Columbus, Ohio, 1 daughter: Robin Dust of Syracuse, 1 brother: Robert Dust of Syracuse, 1 sister: Darlene Mortimer of Ft. Wayne, 2 nieces and 1 grand-nephew.

Military graveside services will be held Friday, November 10, 2006, at 2:00PM, at the Syracuse Cemetery. Pastor Harlan Steffen will officiate. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the graveside services at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse.
