Phyllis Grace Robinson

Phyllis Grace Robinson, age 90, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, November 20, 2006, her 71st Wedding Anniversary) at her residence. She was born on October 14, 1916, in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, to Charles and Grace (Sweet) Goeriz.

On November 20, 1935, she married Donald Robinson. He preceded in 1985.

A homemaker, Phyllis lived in Caro, Michigan and in Syracuse for the last 10 years. She was a Member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a 1934 graduate of North Side High School in Ft. Wayne and a graduate of the University of Michigan in the early 1960s, with a degree in Library Science.

Survivors include 2 Daughters: Nancy (Jerry) Riffle of Syracuse, Judy (Tev) Tevethia of Hershey, PA, 8 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, 1 Brother: Roderick Goeriz and her parents.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2006, from 3:00PM at the Lindenwood Cemetery Chapel, 2324 W. Main Street, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Burial will follow at the Lindenwood Cemetery in Ft. Wayne. Friends may call on Monday November 27, 2006, from 4-8PM at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse. An Eastern Star service will be held at 7:30PM Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Order of Eastern Star.
