Mary Kathryn Balsley

Mary Kathryn Balsley, 87,of Bremen died December 14, 2010 in her residence. She was born January 25, 1923 to John and Estella(Hunsberger)Schrader. She married Louis A. Balsley on May 28, 1948. He survives.

Mary was a 1941 graduate of Bremen High School. She was a homemaker,a member of the First United Church of Christ and the VFW Ladies Aux.

Mary is survived by her husband, Louis, a son, Jeff (Susan) Balsley of Kalamazoo, MI; a daughter, Chris (Kevin) Hershberger, Bremen. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Ann (Matt) Webster and Kate(Mitch) Moldovan, both of Kalamazoo, MI, Scott (Kayetta) Unsicker of Chandler, AZ, Amanda (Keoni) Webster of Kailua, HI, Brooke (Steven) Davis of Bremen, eight great grandchildren and two sisters-in-law,Elaine Conley of Elkhart and Lois Schrader of Los Angeles, CA. Mary is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Charles.

Services will be Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 10:30am at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen,officiated by Pastor Thomas Dean. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, December 17, 2010 from 5-8 PM at Mishler Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the First United Church of Christ or Hospice of Marshall County.
