Bonni Twait

Bonni Twait, age 44, of Syracuse, formerly of Indianapolis, Muncie and Malvern, Ohio, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 23, 2007. She was born on March 10, 1962, in Steubenville, Ohio, to Benjamin and Anita (Yelesanko) Rambaud.

On March 25, 1995, she married Jim Twait, he survives.

As a Teacher for Whitko Community School Corporation for 10 years, Bonni taught English, Drama and Speech. She previously taught at Mount Vernon High School. She attended Grace Lutheran Church in Syracuse. Bonni was a 1980 graduate of Delta High School in Muncie, a 1985 graduate of Ball State University, where she received her teaching degree, and she received her Master's Degree in Education in 1998 from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Survivors include her husband: Jim, of Syracuse, 1 Daughter: Jennifer (David) Close of Leesburg, 1 Son: Ryan Twait of Bloomington, 1 Granddaughter, Madeline, at home in Leesburg, her Mother: Anita Rambaud of Cromwell, 1 Sister: Denise A. Rambaud of Winona Lake, 1 Brother: Karl (Cynthia) Rambaud of Peru. She was preceded in death by her father Benjamin Rambaud in 2003.

Services will be held Friday, January 26, 2007, at 1:00PM at Grace Lutheran Church in Syracuse with Pastor Wendy Piano and Pastor Richard Dunning officiating. Burial will follow at North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition. Friends may call on Thursday, from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, in Syracuse.
