Clark I. "Pete" Fishbaugh, 81, of North Webster, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2007, at Miller's Merry Manor in Syracuse. He was born on June 14, 1925, in Fort Benton, Montana, to Isaac Wallace and Vercie (Spath) Fishbaugh.
On October 27, 1946, he married Madonna "Jeannine" (Voght). She survives.
Pete lived for 14 years in Montana and Idaho, lived in Huntington and moved to North Webster in 1966. Mr. & Mrs. Fishbaugh wintered in Honolulu, Hawaii, for nearly 20 years. He worked for Neterer's Bakery in Huntington, and he retired from J.C. Manufacturing in North Webster, as an upholstery shop employee. He served his country in the Navy during World War II as a Gunner's Mate 3rd Class, was a recipient of the WWII Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific Medal, he received two Bronze Stars and a Combat Action Ribbon. Pete was also a member of the VFW in Syracuse and the American Legion in North Webster.
Survivors include his wife: Madonna "Jeannine" Fishbaugh of North Webster, 3 Sons: Michael (Shirlie) Fishbaugh of East Point, KY, Stephen (Brenda) Fishbaugh of Fort Wayne, Ronald Fishbaugh of North Webster, 1 Daughter: Linda (Dick) Waltz of Pierceton, 5 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild, 1 Brother: Donald Fishbaugh of Huntington, 1 Sister: Marybell (Walter) Ward of Roanoke, IN, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 Sisters: Alice Randall, Ellen Buck, Ruth Butts, 6 Brothers: Jim, Forrest, John, Tom, Glenn, and Sam Fishbaugh and 1 infant brother.
Private family services will be held at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, with Pastor Jack Worth of Dutchtown Brethren Church officiating. Burial will occur at the North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition. No visitation is planned.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kosciusko County Hospice.
