Willard W. "Red" Richardson, 89, of Milford, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at Lakeland Rehab Center in Milford. He was born on February 23, 1917, in Waterloo, AL, to John & Mae (Parrish) Richardson.

On May 8, 1937, he married Myrtle Spears in Earle, AR. She survives.

Red moved to Milford in 1965 from Gulfport, MS and worked at Goshen Rubber for 17 years, retiring in 1982. He was also a member of the Milford Christian Church, North Webster American Legion Post 253 and an WWII Army veteran. He loved gardening, fishing, telling stories and his dogs.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years: Myrtle Richardson of Milford, 3 Daughters: Mrs. Jim (Carolyn) Nelson of Chesapeake, VA, Joyce Lashley of Warsaw, Patricia Whitt of Cherry Hill, NJ, 5 Sons: Wayne (Barb), Bob and Bill (Leah) Richardson, all of Milford, Chuck (Marty) of Goshen, Joe (Carol) of Lake Village, IN, 13 Grandchildren and Several Great Grandchildren and 2 Sisters: Mrs. Henry (Sylvia) Gandy and Emma Ruth Richardson, both of Houston, TX. He was preceded in death by 1 Son, 2 Brothers and 1 Sister.

Services will be held Saturday, February 10, 2007, at 3:00PM at the Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford. Pastor Stephen Leininger will officiate. Burial will follow at the Milford Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, February 9, 2007, from 6-8PM and again 1 hour prior to services on Saturday, from 2-3PM, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
