Roma Lacey, 76, of South Bend, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007, at her residence. She was born on May 11, 1930, in Randolph County, Indiana, to Charles & Eloe (Engle) Ballenger.
On May 28, 1955, she married Jack Lacey. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1978.
Roma lived in Bremen and in South Bend and was a homemaker. She was also a member of the 1st United Church of Christ in Bremen and a member of Tri-Kappa.
Survivors include 3 Sons: Jack Lacey Jr., of Lafayette, Eric David Lacey of Seattle, Washington, Jim (Traci) Lacey of Mishawaka, 2 Daughters: Linda Roher of Granger and Lisa (Scott) Smith of Huntsville, Alabama. 12 Grandchildren: Chad, Mandy, Jeremy, Joshua, Jack, Jessica, Raechel, Christine, Angela, Benjamin, Zachary, Mashelle. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jack Lacey.
Services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2007, at 1:00PM, at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. There will be a memorial service following the funeral at 3:00PM, at the Pleasant Valley United Church of Christ, 10955 Edison Road, Osceola, Indiana 46561. The Reverend Sam Boys will officiate. Burial will be at the Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 12-1PM on Friday, February 23, 2007, at the Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen.
