Charlotte Baker, 86, of Bremen, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2007, at Bremen Health Care Center. She was born on July 6, 1920, in North Twp., IN, to Walter & Lizzie (Kline) Beyler.
She married Russell Baker on November 16, 1940. He survives.
A lifetime area resident, Charlotte was a Homemaker, a member of the Riverside United Methodist Church and a 1938 graduate of Lapaz High School. Mom could take nothing and make it into something. She was gifted with many talents. She was a great cook and an excellent seamstress. She never took a backseat to sewing. She had a heart full of love.
Survivors include her Husband Russell Baker of Bremen, 2 sons: Richard (Karen) Baker of Bremen, Dean (Lee) Baker of Teegarden, 1 daughter: Janice (Roger) Patterson of Bremen, 7 grandchlidren, 12 great-grandchlidren, 3 step-great-grandchlidren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: Infant son Donald Lee, 3 sisters: Beulah Dipert, Bertha Krathwohl, Ruth Pillow.
Services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2007, at 10:30 AM at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen with Pastor Mike Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-7 PM Sunday, March 4, 2007, and 1 hour before services on Monday, at the funeral home.
Memorials contributions may be made to the Riverside United Methodist Church, American Heart Association, or to the cause of one’s choice.
