Leona Spencer, 76, of Bremen, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at her residence. She was born on March 2, 1931, in Jackson, KY to Orbin & Maram (Russel) Wright.
She married Ervine Spencer on May 3, 1951. He preceded her in death in 1999.
A Homemaker, Leona attended Bremen Missionary Church. She liked quilting, loved to draw, loved her kids and her family.
Survivors include her 4 sons: Luther (Christina) Spencer of Bremen, Phillip (Linda) Spencer of Bremen, Anthony Spencer of Bremen, Douglas Spencer of South Bend, 4 daughters: Samantha Troxel of South Bend, Doris Jean of South Bend, Sandra (Keith) Schultz of Lapaz, Marilyn (Stoney) Cunningham of Plymouth, 3 brothers: Luther Wright of Boston, Mass., Ford Wright of Carlsile, OH, Virgil Wright of Bremen, 2 sisters: Ruby Campbell of Jackson, KY, Imogene Wilder of Jackson, KY, 13 grandchildren: Angela, whom she raised as a daughter, Toby, Patricia, Jennifer, Quincy, Bridget, Toni, David, Cody, Phillip, Amber, Ally, Daniel, 7 great Grandchildren: Joshua, Vice, Maiceal, Destiny, Braydon, Zac, C.J.. She was preceded in death by: 2 Brothers: Clyde Day & Carl Wright, 2 sisters: Mattie Eldridge, Arminda Gilbert.
Services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2007, at 10:30 AM at Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen. Pastor Gary Hinkle will officiate. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-9 PM Friday, March 9, 2007, at the funeral home.
