Angela Christine Luecke (Huff), 43, of Bremen, IN, passed away on September 17th 2025 after fighting Huntington’s Disease for years. She was at home surrounded by family and love.
Angie was born May 7th 1982 in Mishawaka, IN, the daughter of Melanie (Faulkner) and Tom Huff. She graduated from Bremen High School in 2000, earned a degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University, and a Masters in Education from Ball State.
While at Purdue, Angie met Patrick Luecke and they were married on May 21st 2005 at Lake of the Woods with Steve Luecke and Cheryl Slusser officiating. They lived together outside of Madison Wisconsin for 5 years before returning home to Indiana.
Through her career, Angie taught many different grades across schools in Wisconsin, Plymouth, and South Bend before becoming an education specialist with The Family Connection and finally retiring in 2021.
Angie loved to travel and try new experiences. From paragliding in New Zealand to scuba diving in the Cayman Islands and zip lining in the Italian Dolomites, she was the driving force behind many adventures with Pat. She loved spending time with friends and family and was always looking to host a party. She loved connecting with nature – catching frogs at the Huff cottage as a child, long dog walks through the woods, or fishing and bird watching at her home in Milford.
Angie had no biological children but an abundance of love to share with her siblings, dogs, and many students. She spoiled them all – there are countless children’s books out in the world now with a “love Pangie” message inside the front cover.
Remaining to cherish Angie’s memory are husband Pat, mother Mel, brother Jerami (Lori) Huff, nephews Jace and Cole Huff, her bonus family the Lueckes, and numerous loved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Angie was preceded in death by her father Tom.
Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, September 23, 2025 and a funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 24, 2025, both at Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331,Bremen, IN 46506. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery and lunch will follow.
