Barbara J. Love

Barbara Jean Love, 78, of Bremen, passed away at 5:05 pm, Friday, December 11, 2020 in Memorial Hospital of South Bend.  Barb was born on March 2, 1942, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Huff) Stanifer.   She is survived by her daughter, Terri Biddle of Bremen; two grandchildren, Ashley (BJ) Vernatter and Adam (Megan) Biddle and four great grandchildren, Layla, Lincoln, Aria, and Jameson.  She is also survived by two sisters, Susan (Chris) Fox of Bremen and Kimberly Weise of Mishawaka.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herbert Love and two sisters, Susie Finger and Sue Anne Finger. Barbara enjoyed traveling with her family.  Anyone who knew her, knew that she was the biggest Notre Dame fan around and loved the Irish. She was often known as “Sissy” and was loved by her family and friends.  Barb was a very loving and giving person. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, December 18, 2020 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm, with Rev. Jaree Kratzer officiating.  Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions to be made to the Bremen V.F.W. or the Susan G. Komen foundation.
