BRUCE CAMERON MORGAN, 70, of Alexandria, VA, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer. Known for his intellect, strength, and kindness, he will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. Bruce was preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Mary Katherine “Katie” Morgan, brother, Joseph Railton Morgan, Jr., and parents, Joseph R. and Margaret H. Morgan. He is survived by his beloved wife, Suzanne Hall Morgan, and sons Cameron and Thomas. Bruce is also survived by his identical twin brother Jay (Jodie) Morgan, sisters Genice (Marcos) Herrera and Kim Morgan, sister-in-law Mary (Brian) McCarthy, brother-in-law Jake (Suzy) Hall, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A longtime federal employee before becoming a government affairs and public policy advisor, Bruce was privileged to work for top lawmakers, Senator Charles E. Grassley and Senator Edward M. Kennedy. He was a graduate of the University of Virginia and a Sigma Chi. Bruce was a member of the Virginia Society of the Sons of the American Revolution and the National Society of the Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims. Bruce also served as Scoutmaster for the “Troop of the Eagle” in Arlington, Virginia, and was proud of the Troop’s community service improving local area parks with trail restoration, reforestation and tree planting projects. The family would like to thank a treasured friend, Dr. Winston Ueno, for his critical advice and support during Bruce’s illness. The family would also like to thank Dr. Ivan Aksentijevich of the Virginia Cancer Specialists for his guidance and assistance and the Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital and Reinhardt House for their compassionate care during Bruce’s illness. The family plans a private service and burial in Indiana.
