Carianne Hartzell

Carianne “Our Loving Care Bear” Hartzell, 31, of Nappanee, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in Goshen Hospital. Carianne was born on January 19, 1991 in Mishawaka. She is survived by her mother, Cheri Steele of Syracuse; father, Phillip Steele of Goshen; three children, Marley Reigh Hartzell, Rhage Daniel Bowker and Castiel Dean Bowker; grandparents, Jerry (Carol) Lanning of Bremen and Judith Steele of Bremen; siblings, Matthew W. Steele of Syracuse and Jeffrey D. Lanning of South Bend; aunt, Shelly Ritchie of Nappanee and uncle, Jeff Johnson of Bremen. She is also survived by God mothers, Maryann Leman and Brenda Ervin and loving cousins, Tyler (Alex) Johnson of Milford, Kirsten Johnson of Bremen and Jessica Johnson. Carianne graduated from Bremen High School. She was very artistic and was a movie enthusiast. She was a loving mother, daughter, granddaughter and sister who will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Monday, April 25, 2022 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in Bremen Church of the Brethren, 921 Woodies Lane with one hour of visitation prior. Pastor Evan Garber will officiate.
