Chad M. Barnaby

Chad Michael Barnaby, 54, of Nappanee, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 5, 2026 in his home. Chad was born on October 5, 1971 in South Bend to Ernest Barnaby and Kay Davis. On October 13, 1995 in Mishawaka, he married Lori J. Thornton.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lori; three children: Amber (Charlie) Dunning of Bremen, Haily Hill of Nappanee and Aaron Bunn of Nappanee and five grandchildren, Liam Hill, Layla Dunning, Vee Hill, Jacey Dunning and Beckham Hill. He is also survived by his father, Ernie (Linda) Barnaby; mother, Kay Davis; three siblings: Renee (John) Fisher of Wyatt, Melissa (Jerome) Watts of South Bend and Michelle Barnaby of Mishawaka; four nephews: Eric Saunders, Ryan Saunders, Isaac Watts, Isaiah Watts and niece: Makenna Taylor.

Chad was a member of the Wild Sons Motorcycle Club and was a truck driver for over 25 years.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm, Friday, September 11, 2026 in Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 12, 2026 in the funeral home with one hour of visitation prior. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
