Charles A. Stoneburner

Charles Allen Stoneburner, 93, of Leesburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at 9:50 am, Tuesday, April 1, 2025.  Charles was born on November 23, 1931 in Sidney, IN, to the late Charles and Daisy (Holderman) Stoneburner.  On April 6, 1957, he married Catharine Ott.  She passed away on June 16, 2017.

He is survived by three children: Susan (Brad) Bollenbacher of Bremen, Debbie (Dr. Edward W.) Boyts of Warsaw and Daniel Stoneburner of Warsaw; six grandchildren: Philip (Sarah) Bollenbacher, Jessica (Isaiah) Bollenbacher, Braden Bollenbacher, Kristen (Tony) Braasch, Miranda (Kyle) Sandberg and Brooke (Cody) Powers.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Catharine Ann; parents and five siblings: Harriet Matthews, Helen Graham, Gail McCreary, Paul Stoneburner and Jean Stoneburner.

Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He was auto body repairman and enjoyed fixing cars.  His other interests were hunting, fishing, gardening and basketball.

A private family service will be held and his ashes will be laid to rest in Bremen Cemetery.
