Clella Martin

May 1, 1926 — July 18, 2017

Clella Martin, 91, of Warsaw, formerly of Bremen, passed away peacefully at 2:48 am, Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in Seasons Home Care, where she was residing. She was born on May 1, 1926 in Tropic, UT to Thomas Edward and Iva Jane (Smith) McClellan. On December 19, 1945, she married Dale N. Martin. He passed away on January 18, 1994.  She is also preceded in death by one grandson, Sam Rickards. She is survived by two children; Patricia “Patty” (Jim) Rickards of New Gloucester, ME and Tim (Joy) Martin of Manton, MI; six grandchildren, Ethan (Linda Hanna) Martin, Abby (Nathan) Withers, Emily (Chris) Kopinski, Katie (Mark Becker) Rickards, Zach (Kelly Reardon) Rickards and Mike (Karrah) Rickards and eight great grandchildren; Noah, Ben, Eli, Jenny, Wyatt, Dylan, Lexie, and Mason. Clella was a charter member of Horizon Ministries. She was a very devoted and active member, volunteering to go on Mission Trips well into her 80’s. She was also active in the Marshall Co Democratic Party, where she would work the polls, and a former member of the Bremen VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Private family burial will take place. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm, Thursday, July 20, 2017 in Horizon Church, 202 N. Center St., Bremen, with one hour of calling beforehand. Pastor Jim Morse will officiate.  Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial to Horizon Church, 202 N. Center St., Bremen, IN 46506
