Connie L Helmuth

Connie L. Helmuth, 79, of Bremen, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026 in Community Hospital of Bremen. Connie was born on December 19, 1946 in Warsaw, the daughter of the late Richard and Jeane (Priser) Faurote. On September 3, 1971, she married Crist “Ed” Helmuth. He passed away on November 20, 2024.

Connie worked for First Source Bank for 10 years and 12 years at Community Hospital of Bremen as the Assistant to the Director of Nursing.

She is survived by one sister: Vicki (Allen) Neher: nephew: Matthew (Jennifer) Neher; niece: Shayne Prosser; five great nieces and nephews: Delainey Neher, Caitlyn (Damon) Myers-Young, Kyle Neher, Ciera (Matt) Prosser and Logan (Aleena) Prosser. Eight sisters-in-law: Frieda Lehman, Erma Schmucker, Mary Lou Mullet, Martha (Ray) Whetstone, Carol Borkholder, Janet Helmuth, Martha (Maynard) Kurtz and Jan Helmuth; two brothers-in-law: Merle (Nora) Helmuth and Floyd (Rose) Helmuth. She is preceded in death by her parents; nephew in law, Steve Prosser; great niece, Kaysee Neher and eight brothers-in-law: Eli, Homer, LaMar and Don Helmuth, Willis Lehman, Melvin Schmucker, Ed Stutzman and Merlin Mullet.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 10, 2026 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, June 11, 2026 in the funeral home with one hour of visitation prior. Pastor Ed Fridberg will officiate. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
