Dale Wyatt Robbins was born on April 14, 1931 in Maple Springs, Arkansas to Oliver and Estella (Foster) Robbins. Dale Graduated from Southside High School in Batesville, Arkansas in 1950 and proudly served in the U.S. Navy from January of 1951 until November of 1954. Dale married his wife Ruth on September 9 th , 1975 and they enjoyed almost 45 years together. Dale retired in 2003 after working 25 years for Farmer Tank Service in Elkhart, IN as a truck driver/ laborer. In his retirement you could find Dale every day at “the club” having coffee or a beer with his friends and playing cards. As his eyesight failed, his friends used bigger cards, just so he could continue to play. That meant a lot to him. Dale had a wonderful sense of humor, always ornery and had heart of gold. Dale loved having a house full of grandkids and always had extra hugs and kisses for them, he adored them. Even as his eyesight worsened over the years, the sound of the grandkids voice made them shine. He always knew who was who. He loved having his family around him. Dale loved to travel back home to visit his family in Arkansas. He was very much a people person, always friendly and loved a good conversation. While we were not ready to lose him, we take comfort in knowing he was eager to be reunited with the love of his life. Surviving are his children; son, Daniel (Tonya) Robbins; grandchildren Nathan and Madison Robbins, Samantha (Craig) Stidham, great granddaughters, Jerzey, Paizley and great grandson, Eazton Stidham; son, David (Rose) Robbins, granddaughter, Tiffany Robbins, great grandson, Okey Akers V; daughter, Karen (John) Hallum, grandchildren, Cathleen, Melissa and Christopher Hallum; son, Dale Richard Robbins; son, Greg (Mary) Kline, granddaughters, Hanna and Katie Kline, grandsons, Brett (Erin) Louderback, Alan (Tori) Louderback, great granddaughters, Lakyn and Peyton Louderback, Also surviving is his Sister-in-law, Mary Beth (Bill) Town and several nieces and nephews.
