Diana May Thornton, 64, of Bremen, went to be with the Lord after an automobile accident on September 11, 2021. Diana was born on November 16, 1956, the daughter of Robert and Jeannine (Levebvre) Lane. On May 18, 1985, she married Devon “Deak” Thornton. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Deak; six children, Tracy Amore-Thornton, Anthony (Tammy) Thornton, Kathleen Spiteri, Randy (Pam) Thornton, Kristy (Rolland) Miller and Kenton (Samantha) Thornton; 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Jeannine Lane and a brother, David Lane. She is preceded in death by her father and a son, Dustin McCain Thornton. Diana and Deak operated Community Business Equipment and The Stationair’s Express. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Church. She was also involved in Michiana Trail Riders Coalition, Indiana Snowmobilers Association and Women’s Bible Study. Diana worked hard to achieve the status as “Master Gardener” and loved to travel, visit lighthouses and collect Fenton art glass. Although her passion was sharing her many gifted talents with those she loved, she spent endless hours working in her many flower gardens, her green house, and her she shed. Diana loved her family, her church, boating, snowmobiling, and ATV’ing. She also loved the water. She had a very strong presence in her office supply stores. Diana was a person of great detail and was many things to many people. Visitation will be held from 3:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, September 16, 2021 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 17, 2021 in the funeral home with one hour of visitation prior. Pastor Kevin Skaggs will officiate and burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to Oak Grove Missionary Church, 69009 Beech Rd., Nappanee, IN 46550.
