Donald Ayrea

June 22, 1942 — November 5, 2018

Donald P. Ayrea, 76, of Mishawaka, passed away at 9:25 am, Monday, November 5, 2018 in the Hospice House of South Bend. Don was born on June 22, 1942, the son of the late Paul and Vera (Coats) Ayrea. He is survived by a son, Mark Ayrea of Mishawaka; four grandchildren, John Ayrea, Samantha (Erik) Boyer, Natalie Ayrea and Nicholas Ayrea and one great grandson, Zackery Ayrea. He is also survived by four step children; Steven Woody, Marsha (Matthew) Long, Michele Woody and Kevin Woody and their families. He is preceded in death by his parents and six siblings, Keith, Ellen, John, Dorothy, Margaret, and Joe. Donald proudly served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1969. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #130, Mishawaka. Don was a very caring, kind and generous man with a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by all. As per his wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of Donald’s life will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Northwest United Methodist Church, 21855 Brick Rd., South Bend, IN 46628.
