Donn Horein

Donn LaVern Horein, 81, passed away on April 16, 2024.  He was born August 31, 1942 to the late John and Lou Horein.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Terry (and his wife, Kay), Tim and Tom, and survived by his brothers, Rex (Julie) and Dennis (Karen).  Also surviving is his sister-in-law, Brenda. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Brenda Billie; three children: Curtis (Amy) Horein, Barbra Buss and Stewart Shearon and Ken Horein; three grandchildren: Brandon (Tia) Buss, Valerie (Brian) Collins, Nickolas (Carolyn) Horein and two great grandchildren: Cambria Horein and Virginia Buss. Donn graduated from Madison Township High School and Purdue University.  He worked for Kroger dairy in Indianapolis, IN, Cincinnati, OH, and Ft. Worth, TX. He moved his family to Madison Township to raise them on the farm, growing wheat, hay, corn and soybeans.  He traveled to Florida for many years with his wife, enjoying the beach on the Gulf of Mexico.  He was a member of Bremen United Methodist Church, 302 W. Plymouth, Bremen, IN 46506, where a celebration of life will be held with visitation at 10:00 am and the service at 11:00 am on Monday, May 6, 2024.  Memorial contributions may be given to Bremen United Methodist Church.  Donations in Donn’s name to the charity of choice would also be welcome.
